History

Olson Gravel Inc. was established in 1974 by Erling and Marion Olson. As a family owned and operated business, the Olson’s dream started with a 1964 GMC truck with a 10-yard gravel box and an Alice Chalmers loader with a 1½ yard bucket. Throughout the years more trucks were added along with larger loaders. Today, Olson Gravel Inc. has six trucks and pup trailer units, along with two 966 Caterpillar loaders and a three-deck screening plant. 

We proudly serve and deliver anywhere. In 2002, we expanded into the Otter Tail County area located south of Detroit Lakes, MN.

Serving customers such as building contractors, landscapers and the general public, Olson Gravel Inc. has grown into a business that is dedicated to the customer. Putting them fist—we pride ourselves in superior customer service, hard work, quality products and workmanship along with great employees.
